How much does it cost to rent a car?

At Carter's Comfort Commutes, we pride ourselves on offering affordable rental options for every budget. Our rental rates start as low as $40 per day, with weekly rentals starting as low as $285 per week on certain vehicles, making reliable transportation both convenient and cost-effective.

Pricing may vary depending on the vehicle selected, rental duration, and any optional services requested. We also offer discounted rates for extended rentals.

Are there any additional fees?

Yes. To ensure transparency, Carter's Comfort Commutes asks all renters to be aware of additional fees and responsibilities associated with their rental agreement.

Tolls: The renter is responsible for all toll charges incurred during the rental period. Toll invoices must be paid promptly upon request.

Smoking Fee: Smoking or vaping inside any rental vehicle is strictly prohibited and will result in a cleaning fee starting at $200.

Damages: The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle that occurs during the rental period, subject to the terms of the rental agreement.

Late Fees: Vehicles must be returned on or before the agreed-upon return date and time. Late returns are subject to late fees beginning at $20.00 per day, with additional charges that may apply based on the length of the delay.

Failure to pay tolls, late fees, damage charges, or any other fees incurred during the rental period may result in collection efforts, legal action, and court proceedings to recover the outstanding balance.

Is there a minimum rental period?

Yes. Minimum rental periods vary depending on the vehicle selected. While some vehicles are available for daily rentals, others require a minimum rental period of three (3) days.

For daily and weekly rentals, insurance and roadside assistance are available for an additional fee and may be added to your rental agreement at the time of booking.

Regardless of the rental term, all renters are responsible for the proper care, safe operation, and general upkeep of the vehicle while it is in their possession. The vehicle should be treated with the same level of care and responsibility as if it were the renter's own. Any damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or failure to properly maintain the vehicle during the rental period may result in additional charges in accordance with the rental agreement.

What are the fuel and mileage policies?

At Carter's Comfort Commutes, renters are required to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as it had at the beginning of the rental period. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than when it was received, a refueling charge and applicable service fees may be assessed.
